IIT-Kanpur students protest move to sack VenugopalIIT-Kanpur students protest move to sack Venugopal Students of the Indian Institute of Technology and the Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Medical College here today staged a protest against the move to sack All India Institute of Medical Sciences Director P Venugopal. The students took out a procession from the medical college to Motijheel area, shouting slogans against Union Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss. Students of IIT-Kanpur, who are already agitating on the Centre’s reservation policy, joined the medicos. The processionists carried posters that said an honest person was being made a scapegoat.
