Running for IIT in UdaipurRunning for IIT in Udaipur On Sunday, more than 50,000 people in Udaipur ran for IIT. The objective was to push for the allocation of the only IIT in Rajasthan to Udaipur. The run, which was aimed at drawing the attention of the state and the central governments to the sentiments of the people of Udaipur about having an IIT in the city, was marked by its total commitment to discipline. It concluded at Maharana Bhupal Stadium (Bhandari Darshak Mandap) where a memorandum on behalf of the citizens of Udaipur was presented to the District Collector for submission to the Chief Minister.
